The moose park

We run moose safaris with 2 to 9 carriages with about 16 people in each carriage. The carts you ride in have a roof and partially open sides so you have the opportunity to pet and feed the moose while you are well protected. Bad weather is not a problem.

Everyone can go with, from very small children (in the arms or lap) to very old. Even people with reduced mobility can ride as we can take some wheelchairs on board. We always help to get people on board who have a little difficulty.

We run the safari an hour and a quarter apart. The moose must rest and ruminate between trips. The moose safari takes between 30 and 40 minutes.

The animals

The moose

Here at farm we currently have 8 moose. They are very social and love visits. Do you want to know more about individual moose we have in our enclosure, feel free to click on the image.

The fallow deer

The fallow deer are our grazing animals in the enclosure and they make sure that we have nice short grass. Since the moose do not like to eat grass, the deer are needed to keep the vegetation in check. They are shy animals and we will probably only see them in the distance when they run across the ground.

While waiting for the turn, there are all sorts of things to do. You can look in our wonderful moose shop, have a coffee in our café, play in the playground or why not walk in our new fence with goats, pigs and bunnys. This fence is only open june, july and august.
